Bookweek parade

On Tuesday morning we had a parade in the hall. I came as Tom from The brilliant World of Tom Gates.

My favorite part was taking a look at everyone's costume when they went up on stage because then I could try to guess people's costume and some were hard some were easy

Sky Tower

On Thursday 11 of June the year 3s went to the sky tower because the year 3s topic is about buildings                                                                      We went by bus it took a long time.

When we got to the sky tower we watched a slideshow about how the sky tower was built. After that we went up the lift there were glass underneath us then we got to the observation deck were a good view of Auckland.

Then we went down stairs to the refuge room. There was a cupboard and guess what was in there? Coloring books and first aid kit. We got to walk around the refuge room the refuge can hold 900 people.

Wheep! Wheep! The guard blew his whistle. I started racing toward all of the coins. I was nervous because I had to beat the highscore. I like to get lot of coins because at the end of the game the coins get added to my score. Then a train zoomed right in front of me and then the train killed Jake.

Then I had another turn but this time I looked carefully so I can beat the highscore. When a train came right in front of me I swiped right and I accelerated up a ramp and onto a train. Then I swiped left to jump to the next train and collect coins on top of it. I had to jump on the other train. suddenly it got faster and faster. I was nervous because I tried to get the high score and I had never gone as far as this before.

Oh no! I crashed into a train and the guard hung me upside down.  Jake acted like he had no coins in his pocket. When the awesome game ended I looked at my high score and I had the high score. yay!!!!!
